A mix of 90's rock, 80's pop, Classic hits, mashups, original songs and more! Burnt Reputation tailors to any crowd or venue by digging into their diverse song selection. They can play as an acoustic duo, or as a full 4-5 piece rock band with electric guitars and drums depending on the venues request. Burnt Reputation's many influences are  reflected in their song list! Singer Jon Spindler cites Grunge era rock as his vocal style, although 80's pop is his guilty pleasure. He incorporates  catchy hooks and sing along choruses to his own penned original songs for Burnt Reputation. Bass Player/ guitarist Jeff Daniels holds down the groove with hypnotic bass rhythms and harmonizing background vocals, and will also pickup the guitar and rip some solos as well! Lead guitarist Paul McElreath shines on both electric and acoustic guitar leads and riffs, hypnotizing crowds as if he is the only person in the room. Mix all that up and set it on fire and you get BURNT REPUTATION! 

   The ever expanding setlist includes covers of grunge rock legends Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots. Cali-style reggae influences from Sublime and 311 emulating beach vibes are heard. They can't leave out Classic rock icons Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, CCR either. Burnt Reputation doesn't forget or stray away from their childhood love of the 1980's Mtv pop scene. This includes hits from Hall and Oates, Phil Collins, George Michael, Prince, Tears for Fears, Cyndi Lauper etc. Burnt Reputation started as a 3 piece acoustic band, and all the members loved the Mtv Unplugged series of the 1990's. This includes the likes of Nirvana, STP, Pearl Jam etc. Often times you'll see LED candles placed around the stage area of their acoustic set. This is a subtle nod to 90's Mtv unplugged set from Alice in Chains, and also plays off the Burnt theme in the bands name. You will definitely hear a wide variety of songs and not stuck in a certain genre when you hear Burnt Reputation LIVE!  The original songs sound like you SHOULD know them because they strike a cord with the audience. From the lost love ballad "Pathetic" to the infectious groove of "Shadow Dancer", Burnt Reputation keeps the audience locked in, and they  will often say that they want to hear MORE originals-which is rare from a cover band. Burnt Reputation are music lovers and have fun doing what they're doing and it shows!
